Run by NYSEGFor: Congregations · Nonprofits · Small businesses
Checked 2026-07-16
SEC. 01What you get

Up to 60% of the cost of eligible electric equipment upgrades; gas-only customers get gas equipment rebates. Completing two or more projects unlocks bonus rebates (“Bundle Your Bonus”).

SEC. 02Who qualifies

NYSEG non-residential customers using 110 kW or less per month (electric), or 5,000 therms or less per year (gas-only). Any contractor may do the work; the program's Trade Ally network is optional.

The red pencil says

The program page says “small businesses” — congregations and nonprofits on commercial rates have used it, but confirm your account's rate class with the program first: 888-316-8023.

SEC. 03How to apply

Apply through the NGAGE application portal linked from the program page, or call the implementation contractor (Franklin Energy) at 888-316-8023 and an Energy Advisor walks you through it. Contractors can file on your behalf.

The link goes straight to NYSEG — Lightkeeper has no referral or commission relationship with this program or any contractor in it. The pledge applies here too. Entry last re-read 2026-07-16; program terms are theirs to change.

Your Payback Plan checks this program — and the other 10 in the directory — against your actual building and bills, free for congregations and nonprofits.
