FlexTech — Cost-Shared Energy Studies
New York State splits the bill for a professional engineering study of your building — the deep version of the payback math, stamped by a consultant.
NYSERDA cost-shares a site-specific study of efficiency, heat pumps, or long-term energy planning — typically 50–75% of the study's cost for commercial and institutional buildings (per NYSERDA's published eligibility terms under PON 4192).
Commercial, industrial, institutional, and multifamily facilities — explicitly including small businesses and not-for-profits — that pay into the electric System Benefits Charge on their utility bill (most customers of the major utilities do).
